Residents of Arneva in Orihuela report noise from citrus company four metres from their homes
Residents of Carretera de Arneva are protesting against constant noise from a citrus company located just metres from their homes, denouncing institutional neglect.
Residents of Carretera de Arneva, in Orihuela, have expressed their exasperation over a situation they describe as “institutional defencelessness and abandonment”. A company dedicated to citrus processing generates constant noise barely four metres from their homes.
Those affected report that the noise prevents them from resting properly and seriously affects their quality of life. According to their testimony, local authorities have not offered effective solutions to the problem, leaving them in a situation of vulnerability.
The proximity of the industrial facilities to residential homes has made coexistence unbearable for residents in the area. Residents are calling for urgent intervention from the relevant authorities to resolve the conflict and guarantee their right to rest.
