Residents of Elche's 'Pisos Rojos' denounce deterioration of Sector V park
Residents of Sector V in Elche are calling for urgent improvements to the local park, whose deteriorated state poses a risk to people with reduced mobility.
Francisco Blanco, a resident of what is known as ‘Pisos Rojos’ in Sector V of Elche, has raised the alarm about the dangerous state of the area’s park every time he goes out with his son, who depends on a wheelchair and has a disability.
Residents are denouncing the abandonment and lack of maintenance of this public space, which should be accessible and safe for all neighbourhood residents.
The community is calling for greater attention from the Ayuntamiento to improve the park’s conditions, particularly to guarantee accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
The case highlights the difficulties faced by families with dependent members in areas where public infrastructure does not receive adequate care.
