Veolia exceeds 43 hm³ annually of reclaimed water in the Comunitat Valenciana
The company Veolia has achieved use of over 43 cubic hectometres of reclaimed water per year in the region, boosting water and environmental security.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Veolia has announced that it exceeds 43 cubic hectometres annually of reclaimed water used in the Comunitat Valenciana. This figure represents a significant advance in sustainable water resource management in the region.
The reuse of reclaimed water constitutes a fundamental strategy for addressing water scarcity and promoting the circular economy. This year, the United Nations is focusing World Environment Day on climate action.
The use of reclaimed water makes it possible to reduce pressure on conventional water resources and guarantee supply for agricultural, industrial and environmental uses. Veolia thus continues its commitment to sustainability and environmental security in the Valencian territory.
