Xixona to cover municipal swimming pool for year-round use

Xixona Town Council has announced its intention to cover the municipal sports centre swimming pool, a facility that currently only operates during the summer months.

The measure responds to a long-standing demand from residents who have been requesting the ability to use the aquatic facilities throughout the year. The project would significantly expand the sports services available to residents.

Covering the pool would enable aquatic activities to take place regardless of weather conditions, transforming the facility into a permanent resource for the community.
