Creamy duck rice with loquats from Callosa and pine nuts takes centre stage at the closing of the Menjars de la Terra edition in the Marinas region. The dish is presented at the restaurant Ca’Vins amb Brases, located in la Nucía.
The gastronomic initiative Menjars de la Terra promotes local cuisine with seasonal and zero-kilometre products. In this case, the use of the loquat from Callosa d’en Sarrià stands out, a typical product from the area with a designation of origin.
The restaurant has designed this dish especially for the occasion, combining duck meat with the characteristic sweetness of the loquat and the flavour of pine nuts. The gastronomic route has featured the participation of several establishments in the region that have prepared special menus based on local products.
